Hacer Yılmaz, who was diagnosed with kidney failure in the 4th month of her pregnancy, took all the risks and miraculously gave birth to her healthy baby.
Hacer Yılmaz (25), who lives in Afyonkarahisar and works as a teacher, was diagnosed with kidney failure as a result of tests and examinations in the 4th month of her pregnancy. Speaking about the miracle birth, Hacer Yılmaz said, "My disease has existed since the past, but we learned that it progressed due to my pregnancy. When I went to Ankara, they said that we need to take the baby as a result of the biopsies performed, it is very difficult for the baby to live, it would be very risky for you to continue. But I had made up my mind. I wanted to bring my baby into the world. Then I started to undergo dialysis for kidney failure at PARKHAYAT Hospital Dialysis Center. My doctor, obstetrician-gynecologist Prof. Dr. Gülengül Köken routinely made my checks. The hospital staff took special care and helped me because I was the first dialysis patient to ever have a baby. Then, when I came to the hospital for a routine check-up in the 32nd week of my pregnancy, we learned that the baby was about to be born and his condition was very dangerous. We made a decision immediately and my baby was born healthy in the 32nd week of my pregnancy at 1 kilo 370 grams. After 25 days of neonatal intensive care, we were discharged healthy.
