HEMORRHOIDS

Hemorrhoids are a common medical condition caused by the swelling and enlargement of blood vessels in the anal region. This condition can become more noticeable during bowel movements or prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Hemorrhoids often occur due to factors like constipation, excessive straining, or pregnancy.

Symptoms of hemorrhoids include swelling, tenderness, itching, and pain in the anal area. Bleeding during bowel movements may also be observed. Hemorrhoids can be internal or external, with internal ones located inside the anus and external ones located outside the anus.

Hemorrhoids are generally treatable, and mild symptoms can be managed with diet changes and regular toilet habits. In more severe cases, medications, creams, or procedures may be used. In rare instances, surgical intervention may be necessary.
